Employment Agreement

- Written employment contracts are not legally required in Canada, however, TCW Services Canada as the official employer of record for employees based in Canada will provide written contracts.
Termination Notice

There is no employment “at will” in Canada.

Notice may vary by province, however, generally employees are entitled to one week’s notice for employment lasting longer than 3 months, but less than one year; and two weeks’ notice for employment lasting longer than one year, but less than five years.

Payment in lieu of notice is allowed. Severance pay varies based on length of employment and by province.
