Ending a Worker's Engagement

You can end a US worker’s engagement via StaffingNation by completing the “End Engagement” form.

These instructions are for ending US engagements only. If you are considering offboarding an international worker (outside of the US), scroll to the bottom of the article for guidance.

Prior to submitting this form

Please note that it is requested to provide TCWGlobal with at least 24 hours’ notice before the US worker’s last workday to help ensure proper handling of final pay.

For a same-day US end of engagement, please contact your TCWGlobal Account Manager directly or email hello@tcwglobal.com during business hours 7am-5:30pm PST before submitting this form so our team can best assist with your urgent request.

Best practices for a smooth end of engagement

We know these requests are time sensitive. Here are some best practices to follow:

  • Plan in advance: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is best, but the soonest you know you’d like to end an engagement, you can begin the conversation with TCWGlobal.
  • Provide accurate final hours up front: We are required to follow final pay laws, so providing these in advance and/or during the termination itself ensures we meet those requirements. Plus, it helps avoid any unexpected cost, delays, or additional follow-up.
  • Notify TCWGlobal of any changes: If a worker has quit, or needs to have their engagement ended, please let TCWGlobal know. We will follow up with workers who are not regularly working but keeping us in the know ensures we can make the experience easy for our clients, and workers alike.

International Offboardings

If you are considering offboarding an international worker (outside of the US), please contact your TCWGlobal Account Manager directly or email hello@tcwglobal.com so our team can best assist you. This will ensure that any offboarding proceedings are handled in accordance with the workers’ employment contract and local laws as each country is unique!
