A cardiovascular sonographer uses ultrasound equipment to create images of the heart and blood vessels. The sonographer positions the patient, operates the imaging system, records measurements, and captures views that help a physician assess cardiovascular health. What a cardiovascular sonographer does during an examination
A cardiovascular sonographer begins by confirming the examination that was ordered and reviewing the relevant clinical information.
