Welcome to the Clipper Corporation Resource Center

So, how does it all work?

Our Implementation Team will guide you through setup, launch, and ongoing support.

Step 1 – Onboarding Call

Once the master service agreement is signed with our Business Development Team, our Implementation Team will promptly arrange an onboarding call to discuss account setup preferences. We’ll also provide a brief overview of StaffingNation, our contingent workforce platform, so you can start smoothly.

Step 2 – System Setup

Your dedicated Implementation Specialist will set you up in StaffingNation so you can take full advantage of its capabilities. We’ll add job descriptions and departments, and provide training to your team. Workers and timecard approvers will receive WebCenter login details and instructions.

Step 3 – Go Live!

As workers are onboarded and begin their engagement with your company, your Implementation Specialist will check in periodically to make sure everything is running smoothly. Next, you’ll be introduced to your Global Account Manager.

Step 4 – Handoff

Your ongoing support contact will be your Global Account Manager. They’ll help your team with questions and account needs as your program continues.

California Meal Break Laws

A non-exempt worker in California is required to take:

  • One 30-minute meal break each day if they work over 5 hours in a day.
  • The meal break must be taken before the 5th consecutive hour of work is completed. For example, if they begin work at 8:00 a.m., the meal break must begin before 1:00 p.m.
  • One additional 30-minute meal break if they work over 10 hours in a day. This meal break must be taken before the 10th hour of work is completed.

Worker Benefits

Eligible full-time employees may have access to ACA-compliant medical benefits through TCWGlobal. For ACA purposes, full-time generally means averaging at least 30 hours of service per week or 130 hours per month. Meeting that threshold does not by itself guarantee plan eligibility; plan requirements and enrollment rules apply.

Use the guide to review plan options, eligibility requirements, coverage details, and associated costs.

Engagement Protocols: FAQs

Does TCWGlobal offer benefits to employees?

Yes, TCWGlobal offers ACA compliant healthcare benefits to all eligible employees. Eligible employees are those who work full-time with an average schedule of 30 hours per week.

How do I add/update the timecard approver for my workers?

Don’t hesitate to reach out to your dedicated Account Manager directly either by phone or email to ask for updates on who will be approving timecards for workers. We always recommend listing an additional timecard approver in the event that the primary is out of the office or unable to approve the hours.

Can TCWGlobal employ workers who are on a visa?

Yes, TCWGlobal can provide assistance with workers who are on a visa and we will reach out to the client and workers if the expiration of their qualifying documents approaches during the duration of their assignment with TCWGlobal.

What does the 1099 process entail (time, communication, etc.)?

When a client inquires about onboarding a 1099 worker, forms will be sent to the client and worker. The Compliance Team will receive, review, and forward both forms to the Client Relations Analyst (CRA) with a verdict. If qualified, the CRA will inform the client of the decision and loop in the Account Manager to provide onboarding forms for the worker. If unqualified, the CRA will notify the client that we can proceed as a W2 worker.

Does TCWGlobal provide support across all 50 states? Internationally?

TCWGlobal is equipped to handle your onboarding, invoicing, and timekeeping needs in all 50 states. We monitor any state/county/city specific laws that need to be adhered to so that we remain in compliance. TCWGlobal has an in-house International team that can assist with client needs abroad.
